An all time favorite, giving homage to the great Bruce Lee. Sketched characters out in pencil, colorized them in photoshop using various texture brushes.

Worked on this piece for about 4 hours. Started out as a pencil sketch brought into Painter applied some color washes using 4 different brushes, lights to darks that kind of thing.
Once I was satisfied I brought it into photoshop applied some lighting effects and some airbrush work for detail. I wanted to leave the viewer with a sense of wonder, wonder of what the hell did he just kill.

Wanted a night scene main emphasis on moon wolf and person.
Wanted the color reflections to add drama to the piece.

My first post, took about two weeks started out as a pencil sketch and was painted over using photoshop to complete. Wanted to do a movie style poster for the show.

Here is a portrait completed in Painter 9.5. Used only two brushes. Reference came from photo and live model. I must admit being a traditional painter, working in this digital genre takes some getting used to, but the time saved is amazing.
